Choosing AVI over IQS only yields larger file sizes, the actual ingame performance (i.e. ![]() All files are recorded on a Samsung 840 pro SSD. ![]() Any other settings for recording eg 720p60 or 1080p30 work fine, but for reporting hackers on a mysterious server requires most of the time 1080p60 (for zooming and such) unfortunately. ![]() The strange thing is that according to the benchmarks, neither the CPU or the GPU runs at 100% while recording and temperatures are also look fine, so I ran out of things to try. Asus Maximus Gene V All my drivers are up to date as well, including the HD 4000 drivers. Recording in 1080p60 With two monitors (one with the game on) using Action 130 - Jittery when fullscreen 230 - smooth when windowed. turn off my custom Anti-Aliasing settingsīut it seems nothing solves the issue. And I always update my GeForce driver to the latest version via GeForce Experience. I tried everyting I could think about, I always shut down every other application and background service before I start gaming, I set my Antivirus to gaming mode, so I'm pretty sure it isn't another program which causes the trouble. Nonetheless, I tried with Diablo 3 again and it worked perfectly. After doing this I tried to record again and it turns out that the game automatically drops the frames down when there is a death animation. But lately my recorded videos - especially from trackside cameras - contain annoying stuttering, while the game itself runs smoothly, even during recording. Hey Super Squeaks Thank you very much, I downloaded the Process Hacker and turned Action Mirillis up to High priority. "I suspect the reason is to prevent the realtime scanning of an AV tool from slowing down file access while a game application is running, leading to potential performance lag as the game frequently accesses files and streams in content?Ī lot of commercial AV tools, such as those from from Norton and ESET take into account the possible negative impact to games that realtime scanning engine activity can cause and they provide features such as the ability to manually disable realtime scanning or detect when a full screen application like a game fires up and temporarily lowers the 'aggressiveness' of realtime file scanning while the player plays the game.As you can see in my signature, my graphics card isn't exactly a power plant, but earlier I was able to record my races in FullHD/60FPS without problems. What sucks is that i have to use AVI format. Is there such thing as a really good free antivirus? I found a forum with this post. Maybe try record use a 'Active Desktop' mode, sometimes works. Hello, Lately I have been having a problem with my computers performance and I have no idea what would be the cause. The built in player does not drop frames, yet using Windows Media Player as part of K-lite Codec pack (Pretty much the standard for video playback) there are alot of dropped. Edit just noticed something interesting and doing even more tests. Recording will shave off FPS for any game, for the majority of systems, just the way technology works. English FPS drops is one of the common game issues that can greatly affect the gaming experience. Don't leave Malwarebytes off after you're done playing, even if it does fix the issue. Also Action on Game mode conflicts with Microsoft Office 2013 and causes violent flashing of the UI. Try disabling Malwarebytes' realtime protection and killing MSE while you play. Action Game Recorder is another software to present real-time high definition results in the recording. MSE isn't actually meant to be a full AV, it's meant to fill in until you can get a proper one. Dedicated game recorders can provide very efficient results in recording video games at impressive frame rates. Sudden FPS drops or performance issues in games are frustrating. ![]()
